It’s a sad week for all of us in Cape Town as the city comes together to mourn the loss of a hero. Earlier this week the City of Cape Town Executive Mayor, Alderman Patricia de Lille, confirmed a series of key events to take place this week, in honour of celebrating the life of late Nelson Mandela.

The Clipper Around The World Yacht Race, the world’s longest ocean race, is in Cape Town. The twelve yachts competing in the race has just arrived from a 3 390 mile South Atlantic trek to Cape Town, and are docked at the North Dock at the V & A Waterfront.
