SANParks Smitswinkel Bay Tented Camp

As you make your way from Cape Town to Cape Point, you pass through the quaint harbor village of Kalk Bay, winding along through the naval-themed Simon’s Town and around the bend past Smitswinkel Bay. Give a little love this winter with the Cape Point Blanket Drive

Winter can be brutal for those less fortunate, and Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula have already felt the full force of winter over the past few weeks ... and there is plenty more icy, wet weather to come. Give a little love this winter and drop a blanket with any of Cape Town Tourism’s Visitor Information Centres for the Cape Point Blanket Drive.

Cape Town has an extensive offering of hiking trails for hikers of every fitness level ... I recently spent two days on the Hoerikwaggo Trail, taking in the views and enjoying nature’s splendour.
