I woke up to another GORGEOUS #lovecapetown day on Tuesday 2 September, 2014, and after enjoying a morning yoga class, I decided to check out what the colourful Bo-Kaap has to offer.
If you ask a young black man to go on a Township tour, the answer you’ll get is usually a NO. ‘I got out of the hood, why do you want to send me back”? That’s the sentiment shared by most young black men such as myself. We aspire for a different reality and one with lavish surroundings at that, you know “the good life”.
