Call me crazy, but if you had to ask me where I’d rather be on a Wednesday in Cape Town, I couldn’t tell you … simply because I’d want to be all over the Mother City at once!

While most of the Mother City’s culinary offerings are steeped in Dutch and Malaysian culture – legendary curries, bobotie, koeksisters, milk tarts and samoosas – Capetonians also draw inspiration from the cookery of Greece, Morocco, Nigeria and America.
They’ve been spreading their “Magic of Compassion” all over the Peninsula by mobilising #BlanketWings, a huge blanket donation drive to bring winter warmth to the Mother City’s less fortunate residents, and now Cape Town Angels will round off their virtuous efforts with a heavenly final drop-off event at the chic Alexander Bar & Café on Friday 31 May, 2013.
The Two Oceans Restaurant is known both for its spectacular views of the iconic Cape Point and serving world-class gourmet creations prepared by award-winning Executive Chef, Phil Alcock. Cape Point’s stylish Two Oceans Restaurant recently reopened after extensive renovations. In addition to eye-catching decor that is reflective of the ocean it’s named after, the 16-year-old restaurant now also boasts a decadent sushi bar, run by highly skilled chef Sarawut Sukkowplang.
