There is just something about the cooler weather in inspirational Cape Town that makes me wish I was at one of her top foodie spots, enjoying the warmth of a fireplace this Wednesday. Several delectable establishments where I’d rather be indulging my Hump Day cravings come to mind, but if I absolutely had to choose I’d pick these ones.

Quirky Observatory is the bohemian soul of Cape Town … it is here where you will find some of the Mother City’s most interesting residents and visitors enjoying the sights, sounds and tastes of this whimsical suburb’s numerous cafés, theatres and bars.

Last month, we showed you a sneak peek of the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden’s exhibition that would be on display at the Royal Horticultural Society’s Chelsea Flower Show. Today we can report that Kirstenbosch has won a gold medal for their amazing work. Congratulations to the team!
