Five things you didn’t know about Adderley Street

Adderley Street has always been the high street of Cape Town. For many it’s the site of nostalgic childhood memories, having been taken to see the Christmas lights. Table Mountain turned into a snow-capped winter wonderland on Tuesday, June 15. “When we opened the Cableway this morning we noticed that there was a light dusting of snow on the pathways and viewing decks,” said Table Mountain Cableway CEO Sabine Lehmann from the summit.
