Stock up on a week’s supply of fresh farm fare in the beautiful surrounds of Cape Town’s Constantia Valley. The weekly outdoor Porter Estate Produce Market is held every Saturday, weather permitting.
The unique outdoor market is a great meeting place for families and friends. Locals and visitors can enjoy delicious fresh food and drink in the sunshine or shade of the oak trees. There is an excellent choice of quality fresh produce that you’re not likely to find in your local supermarket – and at reasonable prices. Make your outing really special by stopping long enough to enjoy a farm-style breakfast while your kids enjoy special activities organised just for them.
Students from the community’s Chrysalis Academy gain work experience at the market, which is open every Saturday from 09h00 to 13h00, weather permitting. Parking is available in the market grounds. Entry of R5 is donated to the students.
