The Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) is the ideal venue for conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, concerts and other big events. The centre takes up about 6.1ha on the city’s Foreshore and is within easy reach of the V&A Waterfront, major hotels and the rest of the city centre.

The convention centre opened in 2003 and is run as a partnership between the City of Cape Town, the government of the Western Cape, and Business Cape.

The main features include about 11 200m² of exhibition and trade show space that can be divided into multiple conference or banquet venues; two high-tech auditoriums with seating for about 600 delegates; and a 2 000m² Grand Ballroom with magnificent views, which can be divided by soundproof partitioning. Catering is offered at the premises.

The exhibition space is used for various trade fairs, and industry and consumer displays.

The Marimba Restaurant & Cigar Bar @ CTICC is an independently owned restaurant that offers African-themed dishes, a buffet, cocktail/finger fork or set menus. Live music/entertainment is also located on the CTICC premises.
