For the perfect lazy day, take a stroll along Church Street where you’ll find everything from lunch and coffee to antiques and art galleries.
Take time to do a spot of relaxed shopping at Cape Town’s original street market for antiques. Browse through antiquities at the open-air market, or pop into an art gallery before stopping for a bite to eat or a quick cappuccino.
With glassware, costume jewellery, china, kitchen utensils, ornaments, ceramics, microscopes, nautical instruments and mirrors, the street market is a must for both the serious collector and the casual browser.
Have cash ready as most of the stores do not accept credit cards.
