Camphill Village Wellness
Make a difference with a difference. Shop by tractor to help local communities at the Camphill Village.
The market at Camphill’s Moya Centre makes for a pleasant and different market experience. It runs on the first Sunday of every month, and products are sold from the dairy, nursery, workshop and farm stall – all spread out across the farm. Shoppers are transported between sections by tractor and each item bought helps to raise funds to provide health care and employment for adults in the local community.
There are picnic sites set up where you can buy your braaivleis (barbequed meat) and salad before kicking back in the rustic setting. A swimming pool is open for the public to cool down in, before you head into the community centre for more delicious treats.
The farm stall is also open on Saturdays between 09h00 and 14h00, and sells free-range eggs, baked goods, jams and preserves among other things.
There is a nursery and village store that are also worth a visit. For the various opening times contact +27 21 571 8600.
