HOW THE RACE IS PLAYED
The race is run along the lines of the popular TV show, with the difference that teams consist of four people per car. A maximum of 20 people in five cars can participate in each race.
Racers meet at the Cape Town Tourism Visitor Information Centre, 186 Main Road, Somerset West at 12h30.
Each team will receive a goodie bag with various clues, a map and necessary information to solve the clues.
The teams follow the clues and map for a series of wine-themed tasks at different wineries and an equestrian centre on the Helderberg Wine Route. Each clue will direct the teams to the correct farm, where they will have a tasting and perform a specific task. The task is timed from the moment it starts until it is completed in a satisfactory manner. Only the activities at the farms are timed, so teams do not need to race between farms. Each team will visit a total of four farms. The prize-giving will take place at the final destination.

HOW THE RACE IS WON
Racers must complete each activity in the correct order and keep all the clues.
The team with the shortest activity time is the winner. This team is not necessarily the first team to arrive at the final winery.
PRIZES
Prizes vary for each race, but are mostly boxes of delicious wine from the participating wineries. Visit any of the participating wineries’ websites by clicking on their logos.
