Enjoy being pampered at Mangwanani Spa at Zevenwacht Wine Estate along the famous Stellenbosch Wine Route.

Mangwanani Zevenwacht offers you the opportunity to be pampered to the hilt from the tranquillity of the Cape Winelands.

Owner Erin Limbert started the first Mangwanani spa in Gauteng in 2002 with the aim of establishing a retreat where visitors could enjoy a day of head-to-toe indulgence. Her concept is truly African, with massages, skin treatments and therapies all inspired by the continent.

Mind you, this is no celery-sticks-and-water kind of spa: Limbert believes in spoiling her customers, so lavish lunches are served, decadent cakes are on offer, and clients get to sip some Zevenwacht wines if they so wish.

The spa is situated at the top of the wine estate and affords some spectacular views of Table Mountain and False Bay.

At Mangwanani Zevenwacht, you can choose either a day or night package:

Day package: The day package consists of seven treatments including:

  • Ubuso – a relaxing facial
  • Tlhapiso – a body cleansing or scrub
  • Neo matsoga – a hand massage
  • Izimanga – a full body hot stone massage
  • Neo maoto – a foot massage
  • Molala – a head massage
  • A jacuzzi session

Your package includes a complimentary bar service, breakfast and a light lunch.

Night package: The night package (from 18h30 to 22h00) offers the following:

  • Izimanga – a full body hot stone massage
  • Neo maoto – a foot massage
  • Molala – a head massage

Your package includes a complimentary bar service and dinner with indulgent desserts, but does not include an overnight stay at Zevenwacht.

Mangwanani is open throughout the year but is closed on public holidays.

Oude Molen Eco-Village and Millstone Farmstall and Café

The Oude Molen Eco-Village is located on the site known as Valkenberg East, near the Cape Town suburb of Pinelands. It’s nestled in large, park-like gardens bordered by sensitive wetlands lining the Black River.

Long Street Baths

Fancy a swim in an historic, circa-1908 swimming pool? If you’re keen for a change from sea and sand, head to the Long Street baths, on the corner of Long and Orange streets in the Cape Town city centre, for an old-world bathe.
