Truly the worst casino in South Africa. I was at Grand West Casino and the level of customer care was truly shocking. Out of all the machines to get a card to gamble, only 3 were working. When I asked the staff of the casino where I could get a card, they said I can go to the counter or machine, not taking any time to show me where, or to try and help me. At the large MVG counter on the casino floor there was nobody on duty, when I went to the other MVG office, some of the workers were sitting around not paying any attention to the large amount of people queuing out the door. In the smoking area there were no tables (blackjack, poker, roulette) to play at, and the attendant said she did not know where you can smoke and play on the tables. Inside the smoking area I also tried to get a gambling card, but the machine that was there, which happens to be the only one, was out of order. I asked the attendant where I could get a card to gamble, and she only pointed to the main floor, not offering any kind of help. On the main casino floor, attendants were standing together and casually talking to each other, offering no help to any customer that approached them.
Visited on 15 December 2015. Gold stars to Seth Geldenhys and Babalwa Soga who went out of their way to help us. They ensured that our problem was sorted out without inconvenience to us. Grand West really have 2 good employees in them. Mandy
