Cango Wildlife Ranch
Dive with a Nile crocodile, wrap a python around your body or stroke a fully grown cheetah at the Cango Wildlife Ranch in Oudtshoorn. The Ranch, home to 47 species of animals and reptiles, offers visitors a wildlife thrill second to none.
There are a number of attractions on the ranch, including the Valley of the Ancients, which has a death-defying bridge spanning a crocodile-filled river, a snake park and a kidzone. The animal encounters are not only for for the brave of heart who are willing to go crocodile cage diving, but also for those wanting to cuddle tiger cubs or cheetah cubs.
While it gives visitors an opportunity to get up close to the animals, the Ranch's main concern is conservation and it cares for many endangered species such as the cheetah.
