Artscape Theatre Centre
A combination of world-class theatre productions, high-tech sets and locally made period and modern costumes are what makes the Artscape Theatre Centre stand out as an iconic cultural beacon.
The imposing, dramatic building, located on the Foreshore, has been part of Cape Town's skyline since 1971 and was formerly known as the Nico Malan Theatre. It was renamed Artscape in 2001.
Owned by the Provincial Government of the Western Cape, the venue is used for a range of productions, including ballet, opera and performances by the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra. There is a full-service bar and restaurant on the premises.
It has a 1 187-seater opera house and a 540-seater theatre. There is also a 120-seater arena and a 100-seater cabaret venue.
Jump Around is the first indoor trampoline park to land on South African shores and launched its flagship park in July 2015 in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town. Jump Around’s arena is filled with 1000 square meters of trampoline fun so you can literally come and bounce off the walls.
