Cape Town Tourism - Table Mountain

Animal Ocean Seal Snorkeling

Animal Ocean runs incredible trips to snorkel or SCUBA dive with playful seals at Duiker Island, just outside Houtbay and home to 15000 Cape Fur seals. All snorkeling trips leave from Houtbay harbor, only 40 minutes from Cape Town.

We pride ourselves on providing you with an amazing natural experience with hundreds of these big eyed, curious creatures coming to play with you in the water. This experience is for everyone, you do not need experience to snorkel but you must be able to swim. SCUBA divers do need to be previously qualified. Snorkeling trips are run daily during Cape Town’s Summer (October – April), and less frequently in Winter.

All snorkeling equipment is provided as well as an experienced snorkeling dive guide, hot chocolate and snacks.

This is the best wildlife experience you can have in the Mother City. Contact us to find out when the next trip is going out.

Proudly Macassar Pottery

Proudly Macassar Pottery is a social enterprise, situated in an old tavern building in Macassar, Cape Town.
