Set among vineyards and old oak trees, this small theatre, a converted chicken shed, is on the Langverwagt farm in Kuils River.
Described as the most intimate and character-filled theatre in the Cape, it accommodates 80 to 100 people.
Die Hoenderhok hosts performances on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Weekends at Langverwagt are set aside for weddings and other functions.
