Wind sport at its best can be found on the turquoise water of the massive Langebaan Lagoon. The flat water offers great windsurfing and kitesurfing and is excellent for beginners.
An hour’s drive from Cape Town, along the West Coast, it makes perfect sense to head out early in the morning and rent a kayak to get up close to seals, penguins and birds.
