Enjoy perfect holidays in Cape Town while helping us to help others.The Scalabrini Guest House is situated in Cape Town CBD (Central Business District) – in a quiet street in the city centre. Based on the top floor of a three-story building(the Scalabrini Centre of Cape Town building), 9 friendly and clean en-suite rooms (with private bathroom and toilet) are waiting for you. Our guest house is a self-catering facility, so you can enjoy your breakfast and spend nice evenings in our communal kitchen and lounge.The Scalabrini Centre of Cape Town is a registered NPO (Non-Profit Organization) dedicated to assist refugees and migrants as well as locals, through various welfare & development services (Soup kitchen, English school, Advocacy and much more). The Scalabrini Guest House is run as income generating project for the centre, so every profit made by the guest house is used to sustain the other projects of the Centre.Our guest house is a responsible& sustainable tourism project. Being responsible means to us:• All profit made by the guest house is used to sustain the projects supported by the Scalabrini Centre of Cape Town• Taking care of the environment through reduction of waste and laundry and practicing waste separation• Paying a fair salary to our guest house employees• Assisting former unemployed people to gain the necessary work experience through a trainee program.
